Storing your make up can be easier and less expensive than you may think! I have seen so many different (and expensive) storage options, but I find that this is the best way for me.
MAKE UP BRUSHES
I store my make up brushes in an old candle jar, from glasshouse candles. Once the candle was all finished I cleaned it out and there was my new Make Up Brush Holder! I love having multiple uses out of the one item! Brands of Brushes include xobeauty, Elf, Real Techniques, Eco Tools, Forever New, BYS and Napoleon.
On catch of the day, I found this handy acrylic 24 piece lipstick holder and for only $12! Still very empty… always a good excuse to purchase more lipsticks! Lipsticks shown are Gerard Cosmetics in 1995, Mac Lipsticks (list mentioned in previous post), LimeCrime lipstick in Geradium, Nars Matte Lipstick Pencil, Revlon Lipgloss and Maybelline Lipstick Pencil and Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick in Candy Kiss
MAIN MAKE UP STORAGE
I store all of my main make up in a 3 draw acrylic set with a top (detachable) compartment that I found at The Reject Shop for about $18, where I can store more lipstick, concealer, stand my foundations upright, and other bulky/awkward products that don’t fit into the draws. In the top draw I store my pressed powder, bronzer and under eye setting powder, in the second draw I store all of my blushes and in the third draw I store all of my eye make up products such as my eyebrow set, liquid eyeliner, small eyeshadow sets/pallets and mascara.
I must admit, when I first purchased this I thought it wasn’t going to fit all of my make up, but to my surprise it fit everything perfectly!
